AMEC’s nuclear business is committed to creating a culture of inclusion to ensure we attract and retain a diverse workforce, whose combined strengths create real value to our business. We provide equality of opportunity in all recruitment and selection processes, training and development, promotion and progression. Applicants are selected on the basis of the best fit to the role in terms of their skills, knowledge, experience, behaviour and attitude. We aim to attract and retain the best men and women regardless of background, age, religion, ethnic origin, nationality, disability or sexual orientation.
To maximise the benefits of our careers site and attract high calibre candidates, AMEC’s nuclear business is in the process of implementing a new recruitment tracking and candidate database management system. The new system is being implemented across our different businesses and regions in a phased approach. During this transition period this means that jobs are held on different databases. You can still search for all jobs through each regional careers page, but once you apply on-line for a job you will be routed through to the appropriate database. If you have applied for a vacancy that is registered on our new system, you will receive an email giving you your log-in details so that you may return to the Existing Members section to check for updated information, update your profile, or apply for further jobs without having to re-submit your details. However, if the job is still on our old system, you will not yet have this added functionality.
You may register your CV/Résumé speculatively by clicking here . These registrations will also be accessible to recruiters in other countries, thereby ensuring your CV/Résumé is available to all AMEC nuclear business recruiters in all our locations worldwide. It can then be matched to suitable vacancies in the location in which you are based and/or to vacancies in locations where you have expressed a particular interest in working.
We take the security of your personal data extremely seriously. As required by the UK Data Protection Act of 1998, we follow strict security procedures with regard to the storage and disclosure of any information that you have given us, thus preventing access to this information by an unauthorised user.
